Strength for body, mind and soul

Spring walks on Seiser Alm

I like walking on the Alpe di Siusi in spring best as this is when it is at its most beautiful. The peace and quiet, no disruptive sounds, no noise to distract me, it feels good after a busy winter season. I love listening to the chirping of the birds. Sometimes, you can catch sight of deer and chamois. The snow has partly disappeared and new flowers such as crocuses, daffodils, gentians, spring gentians, primroses, globe flowers, daphne striata, etc.
I like to take a few branches of larch home with me as this spreads a pleasant scent after 2 to 3 days.
