Yes. As a guest at Hotel Ritsch, you can reach our hotel directly by car all year round. There are no time restrictions for driving to or from the hotel on the day of arrival and departure.

To pass the traffic restrictions on Alpe di Siusi, we will issue you with the necessary driving permit before your arrival. We only need your vehicle registration number and the make of your car.

The road to the hotel is also accessible to our guests in winter and is regularly cleared of snow. During the winter months, we recommend travelling with appropriate winter equipment. Winter tyres or snow chains are required in Italy in accordance with the applicable regulations.

During your stay: between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm, driving on Alpe di Siusi with your own car is not permitted. You can drive to or from your accommodation before 10:00 am and after 5:00 pm. There are no time restrictions for arrival and departure.

If you are travelling by car, please send us your vehicle registration number and the make of your car in advance – we will take care of the necessary driving permit.

Unfortunately, dogs are no longer allowed in our house. Regular guests whose dogs we already know are still welcome to bring them along. Surcharge: € 30 per day, food not included.

• Arrival by car is permitted thanks to a driving authorisation you will receive from us.
• The Alpe di Siusi has a general driving ban from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. As our guest, you may drive the road from Compatsch to the hotel each day until 10:00 am and from 5:00 pm onwards. On arrival and departure days, there are no time restrictions.
• One free underground parking space per room.

All prices are per person, per night, for a minimum stay of three nights, including all taxes and charges except the local tourist tax of € 3.00 per person per day from 14 years of age. From 7 nights onwards: 10% discount; fewer than 3 nights: 15% surcharge. Single room supplement: 50%.

• 0-2 years: -90%
• 3-5 years: -60%
• 6-12 years: -30%
• 13-18 years: -20%
• Children’s discounts apply when two full-paying adults share the room.
   

We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance. There is no withdrawal right in the sense of the consumer protection code - however, we grant the following cancellation terms:

• We charge a handling fee of € 100,00 for each reserved room.
• from 60 days before arrival: 20% of the total price
• from 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total price
• from 7 days before arrival: 70% of the total price
• less than 7 days before arrival, early departure or no-show: 90% of the total price
   

The cross-country ski trails on Alpe di Siusi start directly in front of our hotel. You can access the extensive trail network right outside our doorstep – no car, shuttle or long walk required.

The direct access to the trails right in front of the hotel is unique on Alpe di Siusi: no other hotel is located this close to the starting point of the cross-country ski trails.

Yes. Hotel Ritsch has its own dedicated waxing station for cross-country skis, available to our guests. Here, you can prepare, wax and adjust your skis according to the current snow and weather conditions, so you are ready to head straight onto the trails from the hotel.

Your day of cross-country skiing starts right outside Hotel Ritsch. No transfer, no car and no long walk – simply put on your skis right outside our door and head straight into the extensive cross-country trail network of Alpe di Siusi.

The Ritsch, Übungsloipe, Möser, Wolfsbühl, Hartl, Compatsch–Ritsch, Panorama and Joch trails all start directly at the hotel. This gives you immediate access to a wide variety of routes, from short practice loops to longer tours across Alpe di Siusi.

Direct access to the trails right outside the hotel is one of Ritsch’s unique advantages: you stay right at the gateway to the cross-country skiing area and can start every day’s tour directly from the hotel – without transfers or detours.

Absolutely – non-hotel guests are very welcome in our restaurant. Our restaurant is open for lunch from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm and for dinner from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

For dinner, we kindly ask you to make a reservation in advance.

During the summer months, our restaurant is closed on Fridays for our weekly day off. On all other days, we are happy to welcome you even if you are not staying at the hotel.

Yes, absolutely. Coach groups, tour groups and larger groups are very welcome in our restaurant. Our spacious dining facilities allow us to accommodate larger groups, making the Ritsch an ideal stop for a meal during an excursion on Alpe di Siusi.

For coach and tour groups, advance reservation is required so that we can prepare the tables accordingly and ensure a smooth and well-organised service.

For larger groups, we are also happy to arrange the menu and timing with you in advance.

We offer several room categories and accommodation options that are particularly well suited to families, depending on the size of the family and your preferred sleeping arrangements.

We particularly recommend:

• Hartl Room 210 – featuring a separate children’s bedroom, making it especially convenient for families who prefer separate sleeping areas.
• Apartment – offers plenty of space and is ideal for families looking for more room and privacy.
• Panorama Grande – a spacious room that is also particularly well suited to families.
• Hartl Alpin Rooms – our spacious rooms are another excellent option for families.
