Nestled in the heart of the Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high plateau, our hotel enjoys a quiet yet central position - surrounded by open nature and breathtaking panoramas.
As the Alpe di Siusi is a protected landscape, the plateau remains largely car-free during the day (10:00 am - 5:00 pm)—for the sake of nature and your relaxation.
As our guest, you enjoy a special privilege:
You can drive your own car directly to the hotel.
- An- & Arrival & departure days: unrestricted access at all times
- During your stay: access possible until 10:00 am and after 5:00 pm
Please provide your car registration number when booking - we will arrange the necessary access permit.
Arrival by car
- From the north (A22 Brenner motorway): exit Chiusa–Val Gardena, then follow the signs to Alpe di Siusi until Compatsch.
- From the south: exit Bolzano Nord, direction Brenner, then turn left at Blumau towards Alpe di Siusi.
From Compatsch, the hotel is just a 5-minute drive.
Each room has a free garage space.
Important: access is only possible via Castelrotto / Siusi - Compatsch – Hotel Ritsch.
GPS systems often suggest incorrect routes.
Arrival by train & bus
Travel conveniently and sustainably by train until Bolzano.
From there, regular buses run to the Alpe di Siusi up to Compatsch.
We are happy to assist with planning your journey by public transport.
Arrival by plane
Bolzano airport is only around 30 km from the Alpe di Siusi.
There are direct flights available several times a week from various European cities, including Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Berlin, Cagliari, Catania, Ibiza, and Dubrovnik.
From the airport, train, or bus station Südtirol Transfer will take you directly and comfortably to our hotel - and back again.
On the plateau, a well-organised shuttle system is also available.
