Our hiking hotel on the Alpe di Siusi is your basecamp.
Slip into your hiking boots right outside the hotel in the morning and set off - this is the perfect start! Carried by 360° views of the Dolomites, fresh alpine air, and the prospect of a delightful stop at the end of the trail, every effort is worth it. A wide choice of tours of every level awaits you when trekking on Alpe di Siusi: themed trails like the Hexenquellen, the Puflatsch circuit, the Tschapi loop, or the Hans-und-Paula-Steger-Weg which passes almost directly by the hotel. All hikes begin at the doorstep, though the Almbus also stops in front of the hotel, taking you to Compatsch or Saltria if needed. In summer, the Florian, Puflatsch, Panorama, and Spitzbühl lifts, as well as the cable cars to Siusi and Ortisei, are in operation.

All trails begin directly at our hotel. The Almbus stops immediately outside and can take you comfortably to Compatsch or Saltria. In summer, the lifts Florian, Puflatsch, Panorama, and Spitzbühl, as well as the cable cars to Siusi and Ortisei are all in operation.

This panoramic 16 km tour begins right in front of Hotel Ritsch and crosses the Alpe di Siusi to the foot of the Sasso Piatto. The trail first follows route no. 30B to Wiedner Eck, then turns right onto the idyllic Hans-and-Paula-Steger Path, passing the Laranzer Schwaige to the Almrosenhütte. Continue to the Mahlknechthütte, on to the Dialer and across the Schneid with views of the Dürontal (Trentino) until you reach the Rifugio Sasso Piatto. The descent follows the high path to the Wild-o’-Williams Hut, from where the Florian lift takes you back to Saltria. Numerous huts along the route offer inviting places to stop.
