How all began…..
Since 1959 there lives the senior boss on the Alpe di Suisi. At that time here the Schwaige (Alpine dairyman's hut), his home court Ritsch were in Saint Michael. At this time there was still no entrance, but only horse ways. In 1960 he marries Johanna Stufferin of the "Römerschwaige". Johanna manages the guests, Anton goes with the horse sledges and also helps with the entertainment of the guests. 1961 Birth of the daughter Brigitte 1963 Das erste Gastlokal mit 50 Sitzplätzen wird gebaut 1964 Birth of the son Peter 1966 Birth of the son Kurt 1968 2 rooms with shower and toilet has been build, also a patio and a public toilet 1971 The wooden veranda was advanced (totaly 70 places). 1973 Anton buys the first engine sledge for the preparation of the cross-country skiing trails. Since this time a strong increase from year to year has joined the long-dated security on the Seiser alp 1974 A great parking place has been build. 1977 Restaruant with 170 seats and 14 beds were build 1978 The old Schwaige was pulled down 1986 The Hotel Goldknopf were buyed and decoredet.

1987 On the 5th March the first son of Kurt and Rita, Daniel was born and
passes away on the 10th November of the same year.
1988 Wedding: Kurt marries Rita Gasslitter of the Hotel Gstatsch in San Valentino. Birth of Manuel 1991 Birth of Michael. 1992 The great parking place has been closed by the landscape protection. 1994 The garage for the agricultural tractors were build 1995 The stable and his addition were rebuild 1997 Official take over of the Hotel Goldknopf 1998 The Toiletten has been rebuild. ( 6 toilets for women - 2 for men)
1998 Birth of Stefanie
2000 The Ritsch Schwaige has been expandet by 5 rooms, a lounge, a tv-room and a company flat. 2001 Little by little the rooms in the old ambit were rebuild 2003 Official take over of the business management from Kurt and Rita 2006 Our small spa oasis has been build
2008 Two new biologic rooms have been completed
